The story of human migration and the physical and psychological connection to the horse begins a very long time ago. The horse hair that will later be used for string instruments, and disguised further on as the cimbalum or piano, along with the rhythm of the gallop and sound of the horses' hooves, even further serve to connect us to each other as the base for much of our music came from our intertwined lives.

The story of human migration and the physical and psychological connection to the horse begins a very long time ago. The horse hair that will later be used for string instruments, and disguised further on as the cimbalum or piano, along with the rhythm of the gallop and sound of the horses' hooves, even further serve to connect us to each other as the base for much of our music came from our intertwined lives.

The Listen Project begins in the plains east of Europe, with wild horses and performers Turan from Kazahistan. Their music resonates ancient melodies, while capturing a modern day enthusiasm. The people of Kazahistan still remember the plains, the travels across them, and their connection to the horse.

After we are visited by Lajko Felix, who as a musician is able to make instruments sound different than they usually do. It is almost as if he becomes a part of the instrument as he plays it (or it plays him). He joins us from his house in Serbia.
